💪 JD Gyms – Newcastle-under-Lyme Signage Installation

As part of the branding rollout for JD Gyms' Newcastle-under-Lyme location, we delivered a bold and modern external and internal signage package. Our work combined built-up rimless lettering, LED illumination, tension fabric lightboxes, and traditional glass neon, all integrated into a custom frame system—resulting in a visually impactful and high-energy environment.

Built-Up Rimless Aluminium Lettering

• High-quality aluminium letters crafted for a clean, modern look

• Rimless design for a sleek, seamless profile

• Solid aluminium bodies ensure durability and a premium finish

• Sized and positioned for maximum visibility from all directions

Internal LED Illumination

• Energy-efficient LEDs installed inside each letter and the JD logo

• Uniform, bright illumination ensures visibility day and night

• Enhances brand presence and contributes to the gym’s dynamic feel

Illuminated Tension Fabric Lightboxes

• Backlit fabric graphics with LED edge lighting

• Used throughout the gym for motivational messages, rules, and branding

• Graphics are easily updated for promotions or seasonal content

• Provides a vibrant glow in low-light areas, improving visibility and atmosphere

Traditional Glass Neon Signage

• Custom-bent neon tubing in vivid, energetic colours

• Used for phrases, branding, and gym-themed visuals

• Adds a retro-meets-modern flair, reinforcing JD Gyms’ brand personality

• Placed in key interior areas like reception and workout zones

Bespoke Key-Clamp Frame System

• Custom-designed to support both lightboxes and neon signs

• Spanning 24 metres across major interior zones

• Modular, durable system that complements the industrial interior aesthetic

• Allows easy mounting, alignment, and future adjustments

🎯 Design Integration & Layout

• The 24m key-clamp framework forms a continuous visual line through the gym

• Signage is strategically placed for:

  • Wayfinding

  • Safety communication

  • Brand expression

• The integration of lightboxes and neon creates an immersive, energetic atmosphere that encourages member engagement and movement
