Stadium Developments: Parc Trostre

This finished signage structure can not help but impress due to its height width and contoured lines and shapes.

The engineering and design encompassed within this project is an exemplary example of the strong Retail Park branding synonymous with both Stadium and Sovereign

Engineering difficulties which had to be overcome due to the cantilever design of the 13m sign were wide and varied. Supporting the 7m x 3m head against design wind speeds of 100 mph required the use of a lattice support framework using 30mm thick bespoke channel. This channel is so large, strong and unique that it is only manufactured 6 times a year

.
To clad these unconventional structures, the Sovereign team used polyester resin, glass-reinforced plastic mouldings with changeable branded tenant pods to encompass the requirements of the client for cost effective possible tenant changes or re-branding. The sign incorporates chrome moulded text letters and sealed LED’s for maximum visual and halo effect.
.
“The signs reflect the design detail, care and attention at the production stage and the professionalism of Sovereign Signs. We are very pleased with the aesthetic and the architectural impact of the finished signage, which is certainly the best we have implemented to date in the UK."
