Sovereign started working with Stadium Developments, a major UK retail property developer, in 2005 (see Stadium Developments: Kingston Retail Park).
In July and August 2006, the Sovereign team was invited to work on another great signage challenge, a Retail Park at Llandudno, ‘the Queen of Resorts’.
Located right next to the coastline, Park Llandudno required a different, unconventional signage solution, and Sovereign’s approach of combining creativity, technical innovation and practicality delivered outstanding results.
Unique ornate elements were used for the outdoor signage. Gazebos and silver anodised lettering create the distinctive look. State-of-the-art blade signs provide the directional element, and with their LED edge-lighting, are also an eye-catching design feature.
Impressed by Sovereign’s performance, Bhs, a key tenant at Llandudno, invited us to become their signage supplier. Read about our work for them here.
